A strategic communicator, Pamela Thompson has provided executive counsel, built public relations campaigns and led change communications at corporate, education and nonprofit organizations for more than 30 years.
As the owner of The PR Strategist, Pamela is available for freelance projects helping companies with strategic planning, internal communications, media relations, writing and editing.
She is a communications manager at Walgreens providing strategic B2B communications for the U.S. Healthcare division in support of the company's transformation from a retail pharmacy to an integrated healthcare leader.
A proud Texas A&M University Aggie who majored in journalism, she also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. She has earned her Accreditation in Public Relations and was named a Fellow by the Public Relations Society of America.
As past president of the PRSA Dallas and Greater Fort Worth chapters, Pamela combines her passion for learning and her love of people to mentor others, champion growth and give back to others.
Continuous learning is the key to her success, and she looks forward to learning more in the years to come.
